Sunday: Look Who’s Here

Our former housekeeper from Belize, Rhonda, along with her daughter, has been in the UK for the last three weeks, visiting relatives in SE London.  They came over to see us and spend the evening, before travelling back to Belize tomorrow.

We were due to meet her off her incoming train but, in true Rhonda-esque fashion, she missed her stop so we had to get in the car and go and pick them up at the next station.  We were all pretty amused, as this is pretty typical.

She was keen to experience a local pub, so here she is doing just that.  K also cooked a roast lamb dinner, by special request.

It’s great catching up.  We did hear various things from Belize that were stark reminders of what a toxic environment it was.  Sadly that still seems to the case but we are trying to not let that affect us.
