Connaught Water

Today Mr MC and I visited Connaught Water on another cold and often misty day.  I did take many pics of the wildlife but was rather drawn to this picture of the lake which I can assure you is a colour photo!  The mist came and went in patches and another shot of the same Connaught Water shows it bathed in sunlight, albeit rather watery.
In the afternoon we visited the Epping Forest Visitor Centre in Chingford to buy a calendar, which contains fabulous shots of Epping Forest, some taken by friends.  We also visited  Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge which offered wonderful views of Chingford Plain, although by then the frost and mist were rapidly disappearing.
