Cold

It was a beautiful morning and we were tempted with a walk but it was sooooo cold.  So we blitzed the house instead - me hoovering, OH dusting. It only takes an hour or so but when I was working enjoyed a ladies who 'does' ........ so nice to come home to a clean house.

We had been invited in for drinks with next door at 12.30 and delayed breakfast thinking it would be coffee and pastries.........but it was wine and nibbles and we were still there three hours later.  Pleasant afternoon and despite a bottle of wine I still managed some sewing when I got home.

Message from No.2 who had visited Columbia Road Market with H, always one of Aimee's favourites and I recall visiting with her and taking a massive plant and bunch of flowers back to her flat on the tube.  Happy memories.

Easy dinner (left over casserole from the freezer) and a few episodes of Lockerbie.  OK day but I would like it to warm up a bit now please!
