Phuket

Not me but sent by my friend J&S who hate the cold weather and have lovely holidays in January/February.  I googled the hotel and have earmarked it for next year.

Average day - made some soup.....I had some brocoli which was going a bit yellow so had earmarked for brocoli and stilton soup...... however when I went to make it, OH had thrown it into the compost bin yesterday (indoor bin), so I hoiked it out, gave it a wash and made the soup anyway.  It tastes yummy and I am sure will be ok!  Waste not, want not!

The afternoon was spent sorting out paperwork (not sure why I keep so much) and throwing bits away.  Compiling what I need for OH tax return - I am fairly organised so shouldn't take too long but phone call with Brother S and later with James meant I was on the phone for almost 2 hours so tax return will have to wait until tomorrow.  James not feeling great and a bit sad and down - going to the gym after work, anything to avoid going back to an empty house.  He had a spanish lesson this morning ahead of his plans later this summer and said it was ok but just wished he was doing it with Aimee rather than on his own.  I feel like that about so much......... and struggle to believe she has been gone over 2 months.
