Taking It As Red For Navigational Reeding

Today me and my brother went out for our annual Christmas 'do'. For at least the last twenty years we have done all the organising, cooking and buying of food and drink for Christmas so we think we deserve a meal out to celebrate our endeavours (some of which are still currently to be completed) and give ourselves a pat on the back.
So we ventured out to the Red Bull at Eccles for a turkey roast with all the trimmings - the setting was atmospheric, the food was fantastic and the service was lovely as usual. We left feeling stuffed to the gunwales but very happy.
On the way home we thought we should make a stop for a short amble to at least make the pretence of walking off some of our meal. So we made a pit stop at St Mary's church at Burham and took a stroll along the nearby raised grass bank where a bend in the River Medway is populated with reed beds.
It was a surprisingly mild day for the middle of December, almost feeling Spring like in the sun, and was wonderfully peaceful as a gentle breeze made the reeds, which at this time of year nearly reach head height, sway back and forth. My shot was taken through the swaying reeds towards that splash of red you can see in the centre of my image, a river navigational marker further along the shoreline which helped to add a focal point to my image.
