Some didn’t make it

Quite a good day to be in the garden so I pruned the some more rose bushes chipped all the wood which filled our green bin. I then decided to clean out the bird boxes. Four had nests in last year but this one had some failures. I did see some feeding in this box but clearly some didn’t make it.
This afternoon I mitred the last four organ pipes and glued them up, they look ok so hopefully will work when I try them 
Then went for a walk into the village 
The temperature still only 4 or 5 and mostly cloudy
