Gardening duties resume

At last benign conditions tempted me into the garden where, not unexpectedly, the ground was far too wet and heavy to do anything sensible to it. Some more annual pruning seemed the best solution particularly with no frost in the forecast, so I concentrated on both apple trees, a couple of acers, pyracantha, and wisteria. I spotted the first emerging Grape Hyacinth, way too early, so this just had to be todays blip.
