Kestrel

Standing in mum's kitchen I saw a silhouette of this kestrel, grabbed the camera (not one to waste an opportunity here) and managed two shots.

Mum and I have spent most of our time with a book I made a few years ago showing family members and occasions. It always makes a good talking point and there are people she remembers and people she has to have her memory jogged for but all in all it is one of the best things I've ever managed to do for her. I didn't know at the time but am so very pleased that it has become so very useful  with dementia having kicked in.
