A set of rail built train buffers sat around Albert Dock area, these are the hydraulic piston type produced by Oleo, train buffers are not to stop run away trains just to stop slow moving units usually frieght wagons that are being hand shunted the idea is that train drivers so not hit them but stop before reaching them.
