Not as cute as the kids Theadore Tugboat series

To all my fellow blippers just wanted to say thanks for calling in and looking and leaving your comments this year its very much appreciated looking back on my blips feeling quietly chuffed at whats been published so far.

Todays blip is of a derelict tug boat tied up at Pimlotts boat yard in town for close to 10 years now, was hoping for some great sunshine and shadow on the river to get some good reflections but they weren't there today will call back at different times of the day to try and catch what I'm after over the next few weeks or maybe get an early morning mist off the water shot but thats for another day.
As you can see its in a sorry state nowadays - originally named Hendrik II launched 23/12/54 and completed in 55 by Scheepswerf van Rupelmonde, Rupelmonde, Belgium itsw 92 foot long. Was used in Antwerp till 1975 when it was transfered to a dredging company and moved to Poole harbour and renamed to Pullwell Bravo, 1977 used by a Poole tug boat comany before being transferred to Chancery Lane Registars and renamed Proceed working the wouth coast area. 1987 to 91 transferred to another company in Plymouth and renamed as Coastal Man, did a spell on the River Tyne as Pullwell Bravo in 1994 before heading to its current location and being renamed as Proceed by Jalsea marine services where it looks like it will be scrapped as its in a really bad state
