Thank you everyone who visited and commented on yesterday blip. sorry if I made you feel a bit depressed I was just having a bad day. It happens.

I tried for the bee and butterfly today but they just would not stay still. they just wanted to flit. I managed a not so good bee which is here on flickr. He was covered in pollen from flitting on the hollyhocks.

Instead I have plumped for a fig. Picked a very small one today but my guess is the rest will ripen when we are away as will the majority of the mulberries. August is a bad time to holiday with all the fruit ripening.
