A greener future?

As we leave the glitz and glamour of central Shanghai, we come to the areas of industry where smoke/vapour/gases pour out into the atmosphere and coal is unloaded in the adjacent docks. It’s easy to think of China as a major threat to the planet’s future in terms of global warming, but the reality is quite different - ‘China has achieved stunning growth in its installed renewable capacity over the last two decades, far outpacing the rest of the world.’ 

If only the rest of the world would follow suit …….
