At Last

This bit of scrap Cherry has been bumming about for years and I had absolutely no idea what to do with it.
So I bit the bullet this morning and made the wee 'weed pot'/vase/whatever. It is only 4" (11cm) tall and, as you can see, looks completely different on each 'facet as you turn it (it also stands nearly flush against a wall).

Late morning I dropped SWMBO off at the hospital. She had referred herself to the 'Wellness' unit and she had an assessment. 
While she was there I went and did some shopping.

During the afternoon we phoned we phoned the company who supplied the gift cards we got from The Larder to have them changed from on-line (which none of us have managed to get to work) to 'physical' cards.
Lordy me what a nightmare that was.....and we had to do it separately.
It will take the standard " 7 -10 working days" for us to get them.

During the call I found that the volume on my phone wasn't going up  as far as it should and I suspect that the keypad isn't working properly so I suspect there may be a trip to the phone shop to have it checked in the next few days.
