What A Morning
The colour in the sky lasted for over an hour (8 Shots)
A whistle was made.
A trip to the hospital was made ..... by appointment.
We were seeing the Consultant who had diagnosed SWMBOs hole in the heart and was the one on duty when I took her in having her latest stroke and got everything rolling in double quick time.
He was really pleased with her progress and has told her she can stop taking one of her medications (great - it was the one that didn't really agree with her).
He was also extremely pleased to hear the staff at the ERI had continued his swift and efficient actions and everything was dealt with (including the operation to remove the blood clot ) in under an hour and a half from me deciding she needed to go to the hospital to me seeing her in another hospital all sorted.
Before we left I handed him a bag with a couple of wooden items in it.
I was delighted when he recognised that the 'gonk' (named Gabe) was a guardian angle .... I told him the last time that he was SWMBO's guardian angel.
After leaving the hospital we went to get batteries, a new washing up basin and dustpan & brush - but first we went and had the Old Buggers' lunch at Asda ..... a bowl of (very tasty) soup, bread & butter and a huge hot drink --- for £1.
