After all the snow and ice of the last week, it has been nice to hear some running water in the garden again today courtesy of our solar water feature. It is also incredible that so many flowers have survived the weight of the snow and the sub zero temperatures.
The extra is my thumb joint replacement scar. I had an early morning hospital appointment today where x-rays were taken, I saw the surgeon and the physiotherapist and have been given the go ahead to remove the thumb brace (but to wear it if I’m doing any heavy work etc.) The surgery has been a success and I have been discharged now after 16 weeks in a variety of casts and braces.
