Fed-up !

I enjoyed a lovely mid-morning swim today.  We met at the later hour of 10.30 (which was just as well as I slept until 8). The sun was shining, the air temperature approaching double digits, although the water was still 3 degrees. We also enjoyed chocolates and cake as it was CD's birthday.

This was then followed by our u3a's Winter Blues lunch which feature Pavlova and Tablet as well as a main course. It was lovely to see a mix of members who were there when I joined 5 years ago and newer ones.  Everyone brings a raffle prize and so goes away with another one. My contribution was a tea light holder that I got in another raffle and I left with a bottle of Rioja which was a good swap. I am convinced that some prizes move from one raffle to another (although to be fair the tea light holder was nice but not to my taste).

I am now getting ready for my Gaelic Class - two of our number are ill which means the rest of us will have to work harder !
