A slow start this morning. Think I was tired after yesterday. The birds had to wait a long time for breakfast.

The weather was set to improve in the afternoon. I got the bus to Rydal (again). Today I turned left and walked back to Pelter Bridge (above) and took some photos.

Then up to Rydal Hall and the tea room. I intended to have coffee and a scone but chose the wrong day . . . the tea room was closed. I think it was connected to the big hole on the access road . . . shown in the extra with a few other photos.
