Yesterday was lost
in travel - but I 've landed
with a dear friend here

I woke up in Calgary at 10:30 AM. Yesterday was a long drawn-out blur in my mind. From Yuma to Dallas to Calgary in one arduous day......

I'm up with coffee in one hand and the camera/phone in the other trying to capture my friend's lovely lads. She has 4 male housecats but usually two are in hiding somewhere. The sociable ones are at the door wanting out. They are not interested in portraits this morning. I do enjoy these fellows. 

The weather gods have been kind. I was not able to pack a pair of winter boots for this trip. They just wouldn't fit in the small carry-on bag that is required of me. I will need to be mindful of ice on the ground as I navigate between house and car.  No new snow in the forecast while I'm to be here. I count my blessings. 

L and I will focus on longs chats over steaming mugs. It's lovely to have some time together.
