The Royal Albert Hall

We were given as a present tickets to have a guided tour of this famous hall. We were thoroughly entertained by an excellent guide who took us throughout the building and had many amusing anecdotes. We saw the Cirque Soleil acts practicing, heard about the purpose of the hall and even visited the royal box. In addition we visited the Royal room where they can entertain guests. In the extras you can see a two seater settee which is 150 plus years old and was the settee used by Queen Victoria.
It is a fascinating building with a very interesting history and is the place where some 400 different performances happen each year.

We then moved on to the Natural History museum and the other extra is a new(ish) garden. 

A good day out on the trains, the tube and even a bus.
