Nice weather for ducks!

Actually, we’ve not had that much rain today, but I couldn’t resist the title. This bird bath has a solar-powered fountain, and it belongs to a friend of ours who turned 92 today. I went to visit her and take a birthday card this morning, and couldn’t resist taking a shot of her bird bath because it made me smile. 

In other news, (and those of a sensitive disposition may want to look away now) I have today completed a task which I’ve been working on for several months. I have been creating a PDF document of every single one of my blips, in one month sections. The eventual idea is to create a book for each year and possibly get it printed. I didn’t start doing it until I’d been blipping for a couple of years, so it has been a labour of love to go back to the beginning and make a PDF of every month. But today I finished it, and am thrilled to bits. All the monthly PDFs are stored in Books on my iMac and iPad, so I can access them any time. I am an inveterate archivist and didn’t want to risk losing them all if Blipfoto (perish the thought) no longer existed.
