Some art cards

Today I watched an extra video by one of the artists for the course I'm taking. She was sharing her 5 favorite mixed media art supplies & how she uses them... and this is what happened! 

The artist, Kate Crane shared how she liked to use her Gel Printing Plate with stencils and acrylic paint. She also made some prints with Alcohol ink & stencils. This was something new for me, so I had to try it. 

I had not used my Gel plate for a while so that was good too! I pulled out some watercolors to paint the white background of the printed cards and finished them with some rubber stamping. These are destined to become postcards, which fulfills another thing I want to do more of this year... keep in touch with friends by sending mail art. Yay!
