A design classic

I found this online, for sale from a hospice charity, and remember it  well from my own kids' childhoods. Simone is obsessed with our landline phone (though of course it has buttons, and not the lovely noisy dial). I'm hoping to wean her off that and onto this, before she puts in an international call somewhere.
In other news, can we hope that the reported Gaza/Israel ceasefire agreement will hold, and that the agony will at least pause?
