Quiet Day

It was a bit too windy for swimming and floating in the ocean today, so we played games - we’re both avid NY Times word games players. And we played more Mexican Train (I won) and Cribbage (Emily beat me badly). We went out for lunch and the stopped at the tienda de las plantas (the plant store) since Emily wants to install a little patio in front of her house. We saw all sorts of cool plants, lots of palm trees and cacti and bougainvillea. This flower caught my eye and I was surprised to find out that it’s a Yellow Oleander or Thevetia peruviana. Gorgeous flower isn’t it?

Tomorrow I head home - it’s been such a terrific time. I love spending time with my sister!
