Leftover eggnog

We had a quart of eggnog leftover so we made cranberry eggnog almond bread with pecans. There is a glaze that goes with it but we did not want the extra sugar. It turned out to be so good! Baking is not something we do usually except for Sugar Baby's treats. We are making them tomorrow! It's been cold...no disputing we are having a true winter this year! It is much colder on the farm in WV, single digits. I called our old neighbor up there to check on things. She fell a few days ago and said she has not built a fire since then. She has free gas but only a small gas heater on both floors. It was only 54 degrees in her home. That is cold for a 90 year old. I sure wish we were closer. Her son with cancer is not much help as he is having a very hard go of it right now and has to feed hid own wood stove. So many people have such hardships in life. Hope yours does not.
