Flying-leap

By flying

Little critter.....

....rocking in the wind while basking in summer sun, a Katydid Nymph just a little larger than an ant, beautifully camouflaged, wonders of nature.

Home day today spent in my garden, lots of weeds but also lots of colour at last! Dahlias, roses, penstemons, alstroemerias, hydrangeas, potentilla, coreopsis, salvia, lavender and hosta flowers are just a few gracing my garden, a feast for the eyes.

We've had a dismal summer, autumnal temperatures, long grey days with gentle drizzle, sun has been in very short supply and flowers have been slow to bloom.

Mum is doing well, still resting arm/shoulder in a sling, is managing being left handed, walking is ok without aid, each day she's a little stronger, is in high spirits which is always good. Her eyes are not very good, combined with being left handed I think she's struggling to type and see, so very few comments at this stage. If she's having a good day she may just sprinkle a few stars.

I see it's nearly been a month since I last blipped, it's been busy with Christmas/New Year, my eyes have been good, probably as I haven't been on the computer and weather has kept me inside.

I hope you're all keeping well - Happy Thursday everyone :)
