The Hay is In.

The past few days the wheat has been collected and the hay baled for the long Swiss winters. These bales will be in a big barn tomorrow so we had to go down below our village this evening to try to get the sun on the bales at the same time asit was on the Grand Mouveran in the background. There is a height difference of 3,000 metres from the field to the summit. Now we are about to hear fire works going off all over the place as it is Swiss National Day. Poor animals!! Perfect weather for money up in smoke though.
