Today's the day ....................... to be in the pink

If you needed a reminder that we are actually halfway through winter already and that spring will surely be upon us before too long - you need look no further than the camellia bush.

The first camellia flowers are out on the ancient bush/tree that was here when we came.  It has coped with sub-zero temperatures for many a winter and is always the first to flower.  And before long, it will be absolutely covered in lovely pink flowers - like the one above ...................
