Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . to ascertain

We're planning a trip to Glasgow next week - and we thought we would go by bus.

Because we're of a certain age and are holders of a Scottish Bus Pass, incredibly this would be free of charge.  We could go from our front door, right the whole way into Glasgow.  It would involve several buses but it actually wouldn't take that much longer than if we went in the car.  All we have to do is sort out the finer points of the bus timetables.  

The first slight problem was the fact that, although the 555 to Dumfries bus is supposed to stop just up the road from us, there isn't anything even vaguely resembling a bus-stop where this might happen?!  So it was Will's job to go into Kirkcudbright this morning where the bus starts off - and ascertain where we should wait next Tuesday.

It undoubtedly is going to be quite an adventure (!) - but you can be sure that I'll keep you posted ..........................
