The Wall

I have made my way back to Berlin thanks to Ryanair… 

Edinburgh Airport was a delight (by its very humble standards) and so was my first experience of the new Berlin Airport. No queue for passport control. A friendly border police officer. My bag arrived just as I emerged from the toilets. A lovely sandwich (I declined Ryanair’s offerings) before a quick, comfortable and cheap (€4.70) train journey into the city…

I chose to stay at the same hotel (The Schultz) as last time, so I have the remnants of The Wall at the front door. This section is the East Side Gallery and I have Blipped one of the artists’ works.
