I created a great day for myself, assisted by some lucky breaks.

I caught a lunchtime train to Dresden, and just when I was regretting leaving The Schultz so soon, discovered I have found myself another lovely place in Dresden. 

The train was on time and comfortable - a Czech Railways service to Prague. 

This evening I had a quick look at one of those online maps (no names obviously) for somewhere to eat in the area of my hotel. I saw a pizza place 10 minutes walk away and the rest is history.

It is a tiny place in a quiet back street, and has the best pizza I have eaten for a very long time. It even serves a Bavarian beer (Bayreuther Hell) so I thought I had died and gone to heaven.

When I got back to the hotel I did a bit of research after the event and saw some fantastic reviews for it. My lucky night.

My Blip is the main station in Berlin. I arrived on an SBahn train at the top level and left from platform 1 which is 3 or 4 levels down. 

The Extras are from the library area (hipsters’ paradise) at my Berlin hotel where I spent an hour over coffee after my checkout.
