Bursting the balloon

I met a friend in Swinton at lunchtime, prior to which I had a quick walk around part of the RHS Bridgewater gardens. I had an eye out for abstract patterns, and liked the one in extras. A couple of young women were mulching the beds, I chatted to them about what they were using - it’s something I need to do when I’ve got some time.

My blip image is something a bit different. I started a 5 week watercolour course yesterday, and a 5 week advanced digital photography course this evening. Both are led by M, who also led the drawing and sketching courses I did last year. She is really good - and entertaining too. The image is taken outdoors - M has just burst a water filled ballon. The balloon is shown in extras. In the main image the balloon covering has stripped away but the water inside has momentarily retained the shape of the balloon. M’s finger, holding the scalpel, is in shot, which I like.
