Stick

Why a photo of a walking stick you may wonder. It's because today has been a momentous day marking the first time I could walk confidently with a walking stick since my accident two years ago. It's freedom!

Mind you, by evening I've had to revert to the arm crutch because I get tired and wobbly. Nonetheless, it feels like an important achievement.

I did manage to make a chocolate cake following Nigella Lawson's recipe for the choir's Come and Sing on Saturday. If it's anything like last year's effort, it will be lovely and gooey in the middle.
