Migration

A quiet day for the most part. Took D. to the dentist, sorted papers, watched an episode of Vera from a few seasons ago to start catching up, since I understand the show's finished now. Dylan couldn't come for piano, because his poor mom fell on ice in their driveway and cut her knee. It's very slippery under the snow. A surprise dusting tonight, big soft flakes.

William brought home a houseplant from work, which someone had given him to try to "save." It likes our southern exposure, which is too bright for a lot of the plants I'd like to grow indoors (such as African violets), and has sent a big new stem exploring and now blooming along the tabletop.
