Away Day

We had a most enjoyable trip to Oban. The Isle of Arran is on the Craignure-Oban route for three weeks so we were able to have a cooked breakfast during our sail across the Firth of Lorn (the smaller ferry doesn’t have such luxuries as food!). I had time to do some essential shopping before we drove up the road to the hospital where Nick had an audiology appointment. Later, we drove down the Sound of Kerrera and took Bertie for a walk and that’s where I snapped today’s blip, looking back in the direction of Oban. During the day, we met so many folk that we know, including Blipper Weeflecky, and several people whom we didn’t know but who wanted to stop to admire and stroke Bertie. I bumped into my friend R who lives in Lancaster and was travelling to Mull with her husband and two Border Terriers so we were all able to sit together in the pet area of the ferry on the journey back to Craignure and have a good chin wag.
