Old leaf (Day 3539)

I was vaguely aware of  my beautiful wife getting up and organised to head off to catch the ferry south at stupid o'clock this morning. A little later I got up and took Sigyn for her morning wander in the dark. It was unseasonably warm.
Work today was finishing off the lagging of pipework at the house extension, which gave me an opportunity to make sure nothing was leaking.
Back home I spent a little while on the phone, and now have an MRI scan booked. I was referred to the spinal unit in Aberdeen, and they have passed the buck for scanning to a hospital in Glasgow so rather than waiting three or four months for a scan in Aberdeen, I will be down to Glasgow a week on Tuesday. Having finally got an appointment I zoomed to town to get my flights organised by the Travel Admin team at the local hospital. It was a bit of running around, but I'm glad it is all sorted now. Hopefully treatment will happen soon.
I headed home and got Sigyn out for a wander at Lyde in thick drizzle, and after lunch headed to the horses. The thick drizzle at the field made it much darker than it should have been and I took no useable pictures. It was good to see the herd and give them all a scratch.
I am unsupervised until Sunday evening. I shall attempt to avoid all mischief.
