Not Too Bad

This piece of Yew was a cone cut from the centre of a larger bowl and has been bumming about for years.
This morning I got round to using it.
I am quite pleased with how it turned out - it could have gone horribly wrong - especially when the Jehovah's Witnesses sneaked up behind me. Why do door to door knockers think it is okay to come up behind somebody working on what is potentially a very dangerous machine and shout at them to make sure they are heard?
I think if it happens again I am going to start throwing lumps of wood and sharp tools at them.....see how they like it.

This afternoon - after a cuppa and very tasty biscuit, I went upstairs to photograph the bowl and the whistles (refinement needed on future ones) the sky went a lovely colour. Pictures follow the biscuit in the link.
