Smelly Socks

“Wash ‘em, Wishee!” Has been the running refrain throughout the panto run. I think it’s safe to say that my socks are starting to get a little ripe!

A lovely day of log stacking (at the parents), hot chocolate drinking (with Debs) and film-watching (Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare) preceded this evening’s Panto (Aladdin) performance. Judging by how great a day it has been, I think I may have found the winning formula for life!

The audience were on it from the get-go this evening, which coupled with the presence of a professional company filming the show, re-kindled the creative fires in the cast and lead to a great night - I even said “beef” properly tonight! Definitely a little bit of magic in the air for this one! 

I couldn’t linger post-show, as my BIL was babysitting the wee ones who also had a great evening with their Uncle eating rubbish and working on some Warhammer sets and figures.

Brilliant day and trying not to think about there only being two performances remaining. 

The family is in tomorrow!
