Cut

An overcast day.  I walked out along Moorside and back through the pastures. A small flock of Redwing joined me for part of the route.

This is one of the Ordnance Survey “cut benchmarks” that I pass en route, carved into a wall next to abandoned farm buildings. It’s hidden most of the year by vegetation, but caught my eye again today.
