Marantha leaves.
The Feast Day of Saint Margaret of Hungary. St. Margaret was rich, beautiful and became a nun becauseher parentshad promisedtheir daughterto God at a very difficult time. She led a very unselfish, God centred life by devoting herself to God with fasting and prayer.

It is cloudy here, and very cold, 1c but feels like minus one. By 4pm it is forecast to be 0c. I am grateful for our central heating. The cats are happily resting after a time in the garden earlier. Paul is playing his stringed instrument in his Music room.
I walked to our Best One shop for the Saturday Mail. Someone had spilt milk on the shop floor, near the place where milk is displayed and sold in the shop. I walked home quickly as it was eye wateringly cold. The poor hens were in their pen as usual. I fed the cats and the garden birds. Many starlings, pigeons and blackbirds visited the feeders.
The Marantha in the photo has need of very gentle dusting. There are specks of dust on the leaves. I might use a water spray to clean the leaves.
Have a good Saturday and thank you for visiting my site today blip friends.
