Birthday Soufflé

It looks like Dan has a black eye, but it’s just the way the light falls!
It was my birthday but David was in Australia for his dad’s funeral - read his blip at ‘BGCoffee’ - so my son Daniel took me to my favorite French restaurant - ‘Rise Soufflé’, where I get a free desert soufflé about twice a year as a gift from the restaurant. This time it was a caramel pecan dessert soufflé – which was delicious! I also had a Seared Tuna Niçoise salad and the “Marshmallow” soup, which I always have when I go there.
I am missing David but have managed to stay busy, while also enjoying some “down time”. He comes home on Monday.
