Ask not for whom the bell tolls….

…it tolls for thee!

Highlight of today was my successful installation of a bell at my garden gate, so I may have a fighting chance of hearing someone wanting to visit when I’m pottering about outside. I don’t want more digital tech, with ringcameras and the like, just a good, resonant clanging from the clapper of a proper cast metal bell, with the pull chain yankable from the other side of my unfriendly but secure gate!
