Saturday: Flowers

Dry and mild weather all day.

We needed groceries and headed for Lidl where it was fairly quiet and the shopping was done quickly.

Called in at Tatws Trading on the market for a sack of potatoes, no washed reds so bought dirty ones for £15 per bag, quite a difference from the washed ones (£22.50) - must remember this in future!

This afternoon MrD went for a walk and I pottered around the garden, refilled the bird feeders a few times and started pulling up dead nettle runners which are slowly taking over the long garden next to the fence. The flowers in today’s Blip are pink buds of Hellebores and a very small Pulmonaria, I hope they open soon :-))

We watched another 2 episode of “Foyles War” slowly working our way through the episodes, at Series 3 now :-))
