Come and Sing 2025

All day at Trinity Methodist Church in Loughborough. We sang the Triumphal March from Aida, chorus of enchanted islanders from Alcina, Slaves chorus from Nabucco, Bridal march from Lohengrin, and Easter Hymn from Cavalleria Rusticana.

My gluten free cakes were put out and described as gluten free, which was good of the helpful caterers, but then nobody ate them except me. Anthony, the accompanist ate a slice of the chocolate cake after I assured him it was dairy free.

Gail gave me a lift home. I was surprised to discover that she had been to my house before, when she was married to a lecturer who had been at WEDC at the same time as Len. Talk about coincidence.
