Distance

Today's blip is the conker I've blipped a lot over the last year, but today the blip is from about 50 metres further away. I normally us my cheap smartphone, which has a wide or ultra-wide angle lens - so I tend to go to the foot of the wall to take a picture which makes the tree fill the shot, but also distorts the image. Today's photo was taken further away, so the tree is less distorted and you can see more of the glorious blue sky we had.

At work I had to draw the curtains to be able to see anything, at this time of year the low sun angle comes right through the window into my face... Another odd day at work - managed to get some things done and didn't get some things done, plus I had an early start before the dog walk and I took the blip.

Been listening to Queen all week and as I said last week, the songs may be classed as heavy rock, but there is a lot of subtlety to them and the lyrics are very interesting and thought provoking. Sadly we're decades on from when some were written and the world is no more fair and too many people are still suffering...
