Again

It turned out to be another fine day.

I was able to take my time over breakfast and took full advantage. 

I had hardly started to digest it when it was time to head into the city centre for the football’s 13.30 kickoff. The game was wonderful with some great football, a couple of super goals and a massive atmosphere. Viktoria Köln won 3-2, so the local fans looked a bit downcast as I passed them in the streets later.

After the game I just had time to collect my bag from the hotel and then catch my Flixbus bargain to Berlin Airport. I am in an airport hotel tonight for a mid morning flight tomorrow.

My Blip is the football stadium as seen from the tiny section allocated to visiting fans. One extra is the “piano” in my Dresden hotel room. The other is some upcoming local culture - Der Brave Soldat Schwejk appeals to me, but would my German be good enough?
