Snowdrops

Today's the day ....................... to hang your head

I've spent most of the day indoors, doing a bit of this and that - and for quite a lot of it I've been listening to the radio.  As you might imagine, the inauguration of Donald Trump today and all that he plans to do as soon as he is in office, has featured large.

Now that we've got to this end of the day, I think I can say I'm completely Trump-ed out - and more than a little in despair for the future of the planet.  He is probably, at this very moment, signing something that will effectively reverse all the advances made relatively recently to halt the rapid increase in global warming - and all the catastrophic results of it.

The snowdrops above were probably the most cheering sight in my day - but even they look rather down-hearted .......................?!
