Today's the day ..................... for Celtic Connections 

I'm pleased to tell you that our Bus Adventure up to Glasgow today worked perfectly.  It took almost exactly four hours to go from Kirkcudbright to the centre of Glasgow which isn't that much longer than it would have taken us to drive.  Our two buses were very comfortable - and of course, it cost us nothing at all.  Pretty good, eh?

We're staying with good friends Morag and Stuart, who live within walking distance of the Old Fruit Market where we went to hear Georgia Cecile and her band tonight.  It was a great gig - part of the Celtic Connections festival.

And tomorrow we have the day to explore a bit more of this vibrant city .....................
