Too good to last

Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to London. Unlike last week, there were problems with the trains today. Instead of 10 carriages there were only 5, that meant that was overcrowding as we proceeding further towards London. Like sardines in tin at the time, surely that can't be safe?

And as soon as we got to Port Talbot we had to change tracks to a slower speed track all the way to Bridgend. That meant we were 8 minutes late getting into Bridgend. It kept growing as we got closer to London, till we beat the magical 15 minutes cut off. So I get my first delay repay back. How many more do you think I will get before the end of the year? Lol!

A funny old day in the office. My young padawan was busy with her thesis and one of the accountants was in, so it was very quiet. My young padawan is getting a bit stressed at the moment, I only wish I could do more to help her get her thesis done. I'm trying my best to keep her motivated and show her the promised land after she graduates.

Grabbed some food for lunch but I couldn't finish it and didn't feel like much for tea. Don't know what the problem was.

We did the induction for our training programme today, I'm excited as to what this second cohort can do.

That was about the only thing I feel I achieved today.

Couldn't find any theatre tickets tonight. I would have liked to see Dr Strangelove but they only had two tickets left and because they were seated next to each other, you're not allowed to buy just one and leave one. I think that's singleist. Lol!
