Hunter resting.
As this week of Christian Unity progresses, we are blessed with a span of time to consider and thank God for the aspects of our Christian faith that are real, worth celebrating, such as our Salvation through the Blood and Cross of Jesus, and perseverance and endurance to see us through good times and tough testing times. As believers in Christ's teachings, there is an everyday joy in God's Presence and hope to remain humble servant hearted apostles or disciples of the Gospel, even if there are serious inner battles to overcome sin, temptations and self centredness. It is a hugely important battle to win.
The day is grey, overcast and cold. Now, 2pm, it is, Google informs us, 4c but feels like 1c, here in Rishton.
I have not done much today, but enjoyed reading Steeple Chasing, about mostly very old Churches worth learning about, because it is so well written and provides a pleasant reading experience on this now rainy, cold day. It does not need to be miserable too. A good intention to be inwardly thankful and not annoyingly joyful, works.
Hunter our ginger tom cat, kindly provided me with this photo.
Have a pleasant Tuesday blip friends.
