Alighting On The Action Man, Wrotham

We decided to pop out for a quick drink, as it was yet another dull and cold day, to cheer ourselves up. However, when we got to Wrotham village the pub we had chosen for our beverage, The George & Dragon, was closed and is now looking for a new landlord/landlady to take over. Such a shame as it was a lovely welcoming place when we visited late last year. On the way back to the car, up a narrow alleyway, I looked up and saw this surreal sight - an action man tethered to this pole! Why an earth someone would place this there (about ten foot in the air!) is beyond strange (by the look of his trousers he'd been there a fair while!). I had to shoot the image with a bit of flash (it was pretty dark) and I lightened the slate grey sky which, weirdly, makes it looks like it was taken in a studio setting.
